My celebrant journey began in 2002 when I decided to put my 10 year Nursing career on the back burner and ignite my creative soul.
I grew up surrounded by ceremony, attending Church every Sunday. Involved in
services, choirs, plays, clowning and skits. My Grade 6 teacher reinforced my love of poetry and prose.
I studied at Monash University and recieved a Faculty Certificate in Civil Ceremonies, and was authorised as marriage celebrant in 2003.
I have run my own wedding chapel and reception venue, and also worked for White Lady Funerals as a Administrator and Arranger of funerals.
With nursing and life experience, and working in the funeral industry. I have realised that there is so much more that can be offered to individuals and families facing death.
With my continued search to work in challenging and enriching work, I have just completed my training, and am now a End of Life Doula.
I am blessed to be able to continue my service to the community and I look forward to working with you and your family soon. x
